Since 2020, Guiyuan Subdistrict of Luohu District has been comprehensively upgrading its software and hardware. In terms of software, foreign business service windows have been set up and the number of staff members serving international talentshas also increased. In terms of hardware, bilingual public signs and signboards have been added.
On Nov. 1 of the same year, Guiyuan Subdistrict was titled as one of the first pilot international talent communities in Shenzhen, which laid a solid foundation for its further development.
To build theinternational talent community, Luohu held the first Talent Festival of Luohu District International Block and a series of related activities. Also, the city’s first International Talent Services Alliance was founded in Luohu. Subdistricts in Luohu are endowed with business, tourism and other different functions according to their distinct characteristics. Luohu will contribute to the city’s internationalization and modernization.
In 2021, Luohuwill prioritize the development of talents and seize the opportunities provided by the Greater Bay Area and the Pilot Demonstration Area of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics. It will make greater efforts to attract and cultivate world-class innovative talents. In addition, Luohu will further promote the construction of international innovation platforms, create a pleasant environment for the development of world-class talents and build a new supportive environment for them.
