New culture base in Luohu

A view of a park in Shenzhen Lotus and Water Culture Base in Luohu District. The new base, opened to the public Monday, consists of a park, an exhibition center and Honghu Water Purification Plant. It allows citizens to learn about the whole water treatment process and have leisure time. The plant, covering 3.24 hectares, is underground and located north of Honghu Park. It is said to be the country’s first underground 5G smart purification plant. The base’s park is on the ground, right above the plant.
