A promotional event focusing on encouraging Qianhai-registered companies to relocate their offices to Qianhai was held at Qianhai Enterprise Dream Park on Friday afternoon. The event, the first of its kind held by the Qianhai authority, attracted around 550 company representatives and guests.
The Qianhai authority initiated a campaign, themed "Focus on Qianhai, Enterprises Return," in 2018 with an aim to encourage more enterprises to relocate their offices to Qianhai, which is on top of the authority's agenda.
Cao Hailei, assistant to the director of the Qianhai authority, told Friday's meeting that Qianhai's urban functions have greatly improved since 2015, with a variety of supporting facilities now in place to serve companies and enterprises in Qianhai.
According to Cao, Qianhai has been putting forward the plan to attract enterprises since last year, making it one of the top priorities of Qianhai. For the next step, Cao said Qianhai will stick to improving its service, continue to implement policies targeting each specific issue and offer relevant support accordingly in order to form a cluster of emerging industries and build a competitive labor pool in the free trade area by 2020.
Zhou Yaorong, director of the industry promotion department of the Qianhai authority, said that the measures taken by the Qianhai authority mainly includes strengthening policy support and services, enhancing public transport facilities and other social services, and upgrading the environment and government service.
According to Zhou, Qianhai will work out specific policies for different industrial development, as well as related preferential policies targeting Qianhai-headquartered enterprises, talents introduction and housing subsidies for talents.
