Irkutsk is one of the largest cities in Siberia, it earned the nickname of "The Paris of Siberia". Irkutsk is an ancient Siberian city, the oldest buildings of which date back to the 18th century. and built in a unique style – the Siberian baroque. Modern Irkutsk is one of the major industrial cities of Siberia and is especially noted for a wide range of engineering products. It became a friendship city of Shenzhen on November 11, 2012.
