Imagine a cozy experience of gazing at a panoramic view of Shenzhen from a height of 547.6 meters during this warm winter, with sunlight streaming through glass walls and illuminating contemporary artworks. Visitors to the Free Sky observation deck on the 116th floor of the Ping An Finance Center can now enjoy the "Echo in the Free Sky" exhibition — an immersive artistic feast in Shenzhen's tallest building.

Under the academic direction of ArtBay, this exhibition, organized by Ping An, showcases works by renowned artists — Anish Kapoor, Zhan Wang, Xiang Jing, Miao Xiaochun, Huang Jing and Yao Mingfeng. It features more than 40 of their sculptures, installations, digital artworks, and multimedia pieces.

Kapoor's mirror work distorts the environment, extending the artist's concepts into the space surrounding it. Zhan's sculpture implies an infinite cut on a rock from the universe. Xiang's sculptures reveal the coexistence of living creatures and humans on our planet. Miao's sculptures allude to constant development, evoking a sense of mysterious exploration.

Yao's "Wave," created using sound data collected near the coast of Shenzhen, generates imagery that allows one to experience a dialogue between reality and the virtual world amid the ebb and flow of the waves. Huang's photography, simple in essence, exudes a poetic sentiment reminiscent of traditional Chinese ink paintings.

In addition to the exhibition, the Ping An Finance Center has also launched the China Ping An Art Salon, a high-end art platform. During the exhibition period, two public forums will be held.

Not only is the Free Sky observation deck a popular scenic spot, but it has also served as a venue for numerous art and cultural events that showcase an international flair and embody the unique character of Shenzhen. These events have made significant contributions to the thriving urban lifestyle and cultural development of the city.
