The asymptomatic case is a 36-year-old male surnamed Yang living in Lanwuwei Estate, Anliang No.8 Village, Yuanshan Subdistrict, Longgang District. He is a staffer in charge of distribution management at Haina Show factory and is a close contact of Yang, who is also an employee of the same factory who was confirmed an asymptomatic case May 27.
Yang took a nucleic acid test May 23, and the result was negative. He took his second nucleic acid test at a quarantine point May 27, and the preliminary result of the test was positive. The reviewed result of his second test released by Shenzhen Center for Disease Control and Prevention on the same day was also positive. He has been sent to the emergency ward of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment.
