Shenzhen Metro Group has extended the morning and evening rush hour services on Line 1 on weekdays to 10:10 a.m. and 8:40 p.m., respectively, starting from yesterday.
The final train service has also been extended to 11:40 p.m.
After the optimization of the schedule that keeps train departure intervals at two minutes and 35 seconds during peak hours, the operator will add 45 train trips from Luohu to Qianhaiwan, and from Xixiang to Zhuzilin.
After 9:19 p.m., the operator will also add five train trips to ensure the intervals of departures remain at an average of 4-5 minutes.
For late-night commuters, the operator will add five pairs of half-way final trains from Luohu to Qianhaiwan and from Airport East to Zhuzilin. The service hours have been extended from 11 p.m. to 11:40 p.m. Trains will depart at 8-minute intervals during that time.
So far, Metro train operators in the city have implemented half-way final train services on Lines 1, 3, 6, 9 and 10.
