On Mar. 16, Shenzhen had zero new confirmed COVID-19 case, with the total number of confirmed cases in the city remaining at 423. Another 1 patient was discharged from hospital the same day, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality today.
Of the confirmed cases, 202 are male and 221 are female.
In terms of district distribution, 87 cases were reported in Nanshan District, 83 in Futian District, 71 in Longgang District, 62 in Bao'an District, 34 in Longhua District, 32 in Luohu District, 11 in Guangming District, 7 in Pingshan District, 6 in Yantian District, and 2 in Dapeng New District. The other 28 cases were detected upon entry to the city (from the airport, bus stations, ferry terminals, checkpoints and roadblocks etc.).
Currently, 2 patients are in critical condition, 1 in severe condition and 402 have been discharged from hospital. 3 deaths have been reported so far.
All 18 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People's Hospital. 130 people in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.
