The Futian Station will add nearly 200 trains running between it and Hong Kong's West Kowloon Station in the coming three weeks in order to satisfy the demand for increased border crossing capacity.
On March 15, 17, 22 and 24, the station will add 14 trains running between the two stations.
On March 16, 23, and March 29 to April 1, a public holiday in Hong Kong, the station will add 22 trains running between the two stations, sources from Shenzhen North Station said Thursday.
The railway operator had introduced multiple-ride tickets and periodical tickets for people traveling on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link.
Users of multiple-ride tickets can enjoy 20 train rides within 90 days, fixed along the high-speed railway between any of the 10 stations in Guangdong and the West Kowloon Station.
