Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link makes solid progress

A view of the construction site of Zhongshan Bridge, a part of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, is seen on this photo taken Sunday. The 100th concrete box girder of the link is fully concreted Sunday. The 60-meter-long and 20-meter-wide girder now weighs 2,800 tons after concrete has been fully poured. The 24-kilometer-long sea-crossing link between Shenzhen and Zhongshan is designed with eight lanes and a top speed of 100 kilometers per hour. The link is expected to be put into use in 2024.
