No new local cases reported for two days

Shenzhen reported no new locally transmitted COVID cases yesterday, the second day no local cases had been reported.
Shenzhen had reported 18 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases since the first case in the latest resurgence emerged Jan. 7. One of the 18 infected people has recovered and has been discharged from hospital. The remaining 17 patients are in stable condition.
In a separate development, the city reported three imported confirmed cases of COVID-19 yesterday. All of the infected patients are Chinese nationals who flew in from South Korea on Wednesday. They had been quarantined upon entry before being transferred to the emergency wards of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently they are in stable condition.
