Intangible cultural heritage week starts

Children are enchanted by a handicraft performance yesterday during the 3rd Shenzhen Intangible Cultural Heritage Week that was launched in the One Mall shopping center in Yantian District, Shenzhen, on Saturday. The one-week event was held across the city to raise the public awareness of protecting intangible cultural heritage. Shenzhen was selected by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism this year as one of the country’s eight cities to pilot promoting intangible cultural heritage in local communities.
