The main structure of Danzhutou Station was successfully capped on April 27, following the completion of the final concrete pour. This is the first completed station of Phase I of Shenzhen Metro Line 17.
Situated at the intersection of Longgang Avenue and Baoguan Road, Danzhutou Station is adjacent to the existing Line 3 Danzhutou Station, which will provide passengers with convenient transfer options.
Set to facilitate travel between Luohu and Longgang Districts, Shenzhen Metro Line 17 stretches from Qiaoshe Station in Luohu District, extending northward along Shenzhen Railway Station. The line traverses key areas including Sungang, Qingshuihe, Buji, and Nanwan, before terminating at Shanglilang Station in Longgang District.
Comprising 18 entirely underground stations, Line 17 is scheduled to commence operation in 2029. It will optimize the transportation network between Luohu District and Longgang District.
