Introduction to the Park

Science Park is located at the intersection of Keyuan South Road and Binhai Boulevard, to the south of Baidu Building and north of the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, in Nanshan District. Covering an area of 54,500 square meters, Science Park is an urban park that is open to the public, integrating leisure facilities, ecological green space, culture and science popularization and other functions. The park is dominated by botanical landscaping, with trees, shrubs and grasses being arranged to create a seasonal distinctive environment with blossoms all year round. The park also features people-oriented facilities and a variety of other attractions, all inter-connected by garden paths. There is a forest theater in the east part of the park, a landscaping dry stream in the south part, an entrance square and a parking lot in the west and an urban flower plaza in the north. On the mountaintop in the park are a sculpture plaza and a sea-viewing terrace.

Existing natural resources are effectively incorporated to create a beneficial ecology and environment, with beauty, comfort and accessibility being taken into account in planning the park. People-oriented, comfortable and entertaining facilities have been installed in the park to create an open space for leisure and recreation. The park has harmoniously integrated urban and natural characteristics.
