Guided by its "Three Zones" development strategy, Luohu is actively planning and cultivating two major strategic emerging industries—software information and artificial intelligence, and health care—as well as two future-oriented industries—low-altitude economy and aerospace industry, and cell and gene technologies. The scale of strategic emerging industries continues to grow, and sci-tech innovation capabilities are rapidly improving.
By the end of 2024: The total added value of strategic emerging industries reached 24.41 billion yuan. The district was home to 713 national high-tech enterprises. A total of 7,053 patents were granted throughout the year. Fifty-eight soft science research projects had been approved.
