2024年，宝安区有各级各类学校627所。全区医疗服务体系健全，拥有三甲医5家（全市第一），汇聚全国最高水平的中医类、中西医结合类和妇幼专科类医院和全国首家纯中医治疗医院；全面实现 " 一社区一社康 " 覆盖，可提供跨境双向转诊服务与跨境商保结算。
In 2024,there are 627 schools of all levels and types in Bao'an District. Bao'an District boasts a well-established healthcare system with five Class III Grade A hospitals (the most in Shenzhen), including nationally top-tier traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), integrated Chinese-Western medicine, and maternal-child healthcare hospitals, as well as China's first TCM-exclusive hospital. It has achieved full "one community, one health center" coverage and provides cross-border two-way referral services with international insurance settlement.

截至2024年底，宝安区拥有凤凰塔、文昌阁、龙津石塔等不可移动文物248处，各类非物质文化遗产名录67项，数量位居深圳市前列。各级公共图书馆191个，文化馆（站）11个、文化馆社会特色主题馆16个，美术馆10个。全年开展群众性文体活动1万余场，形成10分钟文体服务圈。
By the end of 2024, Bao'an District had 248 immovable cultural relics such as Phoenix Pagoda, Wenchang Pavilion and Longjin Stone Pagoda, and 67 items on the list of intangible cultural heritage, ranking among the top districts in Shenzhen in terms of number. There are 191 public libraries at all levels, 11 cultural centers (stations), 16 theme halls with social characteristics, and 10 galleries. More than 10,000 mass cultural and sports activities were held throughout the year, forming a 10-minute cultural and sports service circle.

宝安城区生态环境优美，拥有优美滨海岸线52.98公里，滨海文化公园、凤凰山森林公园等各类公园219座，建成绿道碧道健步道164公里，基本实现全域15分钟即达健步道。
Bao'an has a beautiful ecological environment in its downtown. It has 52.98 kilometers of beautiful coastline and 219 parks of various kinds such as Binhai Cultural Park and Fenghuang Mountain Forest Park. Currently, Bao'an's greenway has reached 164 km and the citizens can take only 15 minutes to reach the greenway nearby throughout the district.
