宝安是深圳市辖行政区，位于深圳市的西北部，广深港澳科技创新走廊、环珠三角产业拓展战略交汇点，是粤港澳大湾区的核心支点。辖区面积 397 平方公里，常住人口超 460 万人，拥有商事主体超 98 万户 , 占全市总量的 22%，居全市第一。
Located in the northwest of Shenzhen,Bao'an, an administrative district of ShenzhenMunicipality, lies on the strategic intersection of Guangzhou-Shenzhen-HongKong-Macao Technological Innovation Corridor andIndustrial Expansion and Integration Strategy for the Pearl River Delta Region. It is the core fulcrum of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Bao'an covers an area of 397km² with a population of more than 4.6million. There are more than 980,000 business entities across the district, accounting for thelargest proportion (22%) of Shenzhen's total.

Bao'an is the "heart" of the "one-hour traffic circle" of the Greater Bay Area. It is also a modern three-dimensional transportation network hub integrating aviation,maritime transportation, expressways, high-speed rail, intercity rail transit and subway. Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport is a national logistics hub approved by the state government with a passenger traffic of 61.47 million in 2024. It has been awarded the "Five Star Airport" by SKYTRAX for three consecutive years, the "Best Airport Award" by the Airports Council International (ACI), and the CAPSE Best Airport. It has also been ranked among the top ten most beautiful airports in the world. Shenzhen Airport Ferry Terminal links Shenzhen with Hong Kong and Macao. The Western Highway Logistics Hub was rated as a national logistics hub for production services. Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center has the largest single-building unit among counterparts in the world, with an annual exhibition area exceeding 5.84 million m² and more than 4.5 million visitors.
