On November 2, the torch for the 15th National Games was relayed simultaneously in Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao.
The "source flame" was extracted and ignited from combustible ice lying more than 1,500 meters beneath the surface of the South China Sea in September.
That same day, the Flame-Merging Ceremony for the 15th National Games torch relay was held in Guangzhou, where representatives from the four cities jointly lit the cauldron.
