The first floor houses dedicated functional zones for athletes, media, VIPs, and event operations, with clearly defined layouts to ensure smooth and interference-free event execution. The second floor serves as the main public concourse, where spectators ascend a grand outdoor staircase to reach the entrance lobby before proceeding to their seating sections. This open-air platform connects seamlessly with surrounding neighborhoods via elevated walkways.
The third and fourth floors are designated for private suites, accessible via escalators and elevators. The fifth floor is the upper-tier spectator area, featuring facilities similar to those on the second floor. The sixth floor mainly contains auxiliary rooms, including control rooms for sound, lighting, and display systems, as well as TV broadcast commentary booths.
The gymnasium will host Badminton (competition event) during the 15th National Games of the People’s Republic of China, and Badminton (mass participation event) and Darts (mass participation event) during the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympics Games.
