Shenzhen Luohu People’s Hospital (The Third Affiliated Hospital of Shenzhen University), founded in April 1957, is located in the bustling commercial center of Luohu, and adjacent to Hong Kong. With more than six decades of development, it has evolved into a modern, grade-A tertiary general hospital that integrates medical care, teaching, research, prevention, health management, and rehabilitation, supported by a full range of specialties, advanced facilities, and strong clinical expertise.
The hospital has three Guangdong provincial clinical key specialty development programs (Urology Department, General Practice Department, and Laboratory Medicine Department), three Shenzhen municipal key medical disciplines (Urology Department, Laboratory Medicine Department, and General Practice Department), one Shenzhen municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) specialty (TCM Pulmonary Diseases Department), one Shenzhen municipal key laboratory (Intelligent Trace Clinical Applications Laboratory), as well as seven Luohu District key clinical departments (laboratories) and one key specialty development unit.
Currently, the hospital operates three campuses (Youyi Road Campus, Chunfeng Campus, and Qingshuihe Campus), one geriatric branch hospital (Luohu District Integrated Medical-Elderly Care Geriatric Hospital), and one research institute (Shenzhen Following Precision Medical Research Institute, China's first precision medical research institute).

Luohu Hospital of TCM 罗湖区中医院 （上海中医药大学深圳医院）
The Luohu Hospital of TCM (Shenzhen Hospital of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine) is a comprehensive grade-A tertiary Chinese medicine hospital, an internship hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a collaborative hospital of Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and a clinical teaching hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Luohu District invested about 1.2 billion yuan in the construction of the Luohu Hospital of TCM Liantang Branch, which is one of the key livelihood projects of Luohu District. The hospital, with a construction area of more than 70,000 square meters and a total of 738 beds, is located at the foot of Wutong Mountain and officially opened on December 27, 2018. It has 30 clinical departments and eight medical and technical departments, including internal medicine, dermatology, OB/GYN, pediatrics, orthopedics and rehabilitation. It provides medical benefits to the residents of Luohu District, Shenzhen and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Established in January 1999, the Luohu Center for Chronic Disease Control is a professional public health institution for the prevention, control and management of chronic diseases and mental illnesses in Luohu District.
