This exhibition showcases over 30 key works by Guan Shanyue, tracing his artistic journey from wartime national salvation to peacetime rejuvenation.

In the late 1930s, the young Guan Shanyue joined the wartime art circle. He dedicated himself to national salvation through art, using anti-war paintings and sketches to express the ideal of national rejuvenation. The exhibition juxtaposes Guan’s wartime paintings with his works symbolizing national spirit after the founding of the People's Republic of China, illustrating how art can reflect historical struggle and cultural identity.
