In Shenzhen, discarded takeaway boxes and beverage cups are being turned into park furniture. At Lianhuashan Park, arched seats are made from recycled material equivalent to about 15,720 boxes and cups, while Bijiashan Park's "zero-waste benches" line the greenway and dot children's play areas. Whatever you toss away could one day become the bench you're sitting on.
