Acceptance criteria
Qualifying individual: foreign journalist with a Chinese J-1 or J-2 journalist visa
Acceptance requirements: If the journalist visa indicates there is a requirement to apply for a residence permit after entry, the journalist shall apply within 30 days from the date of entry to obtain a foreigner’s residence permit from the appropriate exit and entry administrations of public security departments under local people's governments at or above the county level in the proposed places of residence for foreigner’s residence permits.
