Tourists wait in line to enter Zhongying Street in Shatoujiao, Yantian District, Shenzhen, yesterday when the 250-meter-long street, one of Shenzhen’s most popular tourist attractions and a shopping paradise bordering Hong Kong, reopened after weeks of closure since Jan. 8 due to the latest COVID resurgence in the city. Tourists are required to make appointments via “i盐田” WeChat public account or “i深圳” app, hold proof of a negative nucleic acid test taken within 72 hours before entry, and produce green health codes, according to local authority.
