People enjoy themselves in the sea of Verbena officinalis L. in Liuhuashan Park in Shenzhen Bay Park yesterday. Large areas of verbena flowers in the park are now in full blossom, attracting many residents to enjoy a fall bloom. The arc-shaped flower beds are seen on the gentle slope facing the sea and when the breeze blows, the flowers move like undulating waves. Native to Europe and Asia, the plant has white or purple flowers and grows up to 70 cm high.
