Harrow SZ Qianhai welcomes first batch of students

The Harrow International School Shenzhen Qianhai (Harrow Shenzhen Qianhai) welcomed its first batch of students to the campus Monday.


The students had their temperatures checked and disinfected their hands before being allowed onto the campus in Qianhai. They went on an organized orientation tour of the campus before starting their first day of class at the world-famous private school with more than 400 years of history.


With a total construction area of approximately 60,000 square meters, Harrow Shenzhen Qianhai has a capacity of 800 children of expats and residents from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, living in Qianhai.


Harrow Shenzhen Qianhai offers the K-12 schooling from kindergarten to senior high school. Currently, the school has students from kindergarten to Grade 9 (aged 2-13) and will start enrolling Grade 10 students in 2021, when boarding services will be made available to 90 students.

Qian Lang, Chinese headmaster of the school, said that Harrow aims to create an inclusive and diverse environment in which every child feels recognized, cared for and has a sense of belonging.
