Medical staff of Shenzhen No. 3 People’s Hospital wait for their turns to donate blood at the hospital in Longgang District, Shenzhen, on Thursday. Eighty-nine employees with the hospital donated a total of 30,900 milliliters of blood at the event organized by Shenzhen Blood Center. Since the outbreak of COVID-19 until Wednesday, a total of 5,174 medical workers in 88 medical institutions in the city had donated 1.76 million milliliters of blood, saving 2,500 patients.
