New air route to Xinjiang to open

A new air route traveling between Shenzhen and Kashi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region via Lanzhou, Gansu Province operated by China Southern Airlines is expected to open Thursday, Shenzhen Specail Zone Daily reported.
The travel time for this route is eight hours. Round-trip flights are available Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Flight CZ8691 will depart from Shenzhen at 7:30 a.m. and arrive at Kashi at 3:35 p.m. Flight CZ8692 will depart from Kashi at 4:35 p.m. and arrive at Shenzhen at 12:25 a.m. the following day.
Tickets are available at China Southern Airlines’ official website since Wednesday.
