Shenzhen had no newly confirmednovel coronavirus pneumonia (NCP) case on Feb. 20, and the total number of confirmed cases in the city continues to remain at 416 for the third consecutive day, according to the latest figures released by the Health Commission of Shenzhen Municipality today.
Of the confirmed cases, 197 are male and 219 are female.
In terms of district distribution, 87 cases were reported in Nanshan District, 80 in Futian District, 71 in Longgang District, 62 in Bao'an District, 34 in Longhua District, 32 in Luohu District, 11 in Guangming District, 7 in Pingshan District, 6 in Yantian District, and 2 in Dapeng New District. The other 24 cases were detected upon entry to the city (from the airport, bus stations, ferry terminals, checkpoints and roadblocks etc.).
Currently, 9 patients are in critical condition, 10 in severe condition and 199 have been discharged from hospital. 2 deaths have been reported so far.
All 215 patients are being treated at Shenzhen No. 3 People's Hospital. 232 people in close contact with the patients are under medical observation.
