The Splendid China•China Folk Culture Villages in Nanshan District launched a 320,000-square-meter light show and a Labor Day event Friday to turn the scenic spot an even more popular choice for hanging out at night and provide tourists with an immersive experience of the cultural customs of the country’s ethnic minority groups.
Splendid China has brightened the 82 miniature Chinese scenic spots to integrate creative lighting into the original geographical space and the miniatures’ unique cultural features.
In addition, the theme park has created over 50 sites, including the Fantasy Planet, Luminous Tree of Life, Rainbow Corridor, Firefly World and Ancient Poetry Lantern Array, for tourists to take unique and beautiful photos.
To create a top-notch night tour atmosphere and meet young people’s one-stop travel needs, Splendid China is also providing various activities such as float parades, live shows and themed camping sites, a trunk market and a food market.
During the upcoming Labor Day holiday, a Hanfu show will be held. Starting from this month, Splendid China will hold one ethnic festival every month to show the original and authentic folk culture of each Chinese ethnic group.
