Travelers arriving in Shenzhen from high-risk areas for COVID-19 are required to undergo seven-day centralized quarantine and undergo nucleic acid tests on the first, second, third, fifth and seventh day, respectively, according to the city’s updated travel policy during the COVID pandemic, which was released yesterday.

Those arriving in the city from medium-risk areas must undergo seven-day home quarantine and take nucleic acid tests on the first, fourth, and seventh day.

Arrivals from counties, cities and districts containing medium- and high-risk areas are required to take nucleic acid tests on the first and third day, while those returning or coming to Shenzhen from places with positive COVID cases must take a COVID test within 24 hours upon arrival.

Shenzhen residents are required to present negative 48-hour nucleic acid test results or a 24-hour COVID test record to access indoor public places and public transport.
