SZ to certify arborists

Landscaping workers learn about matters related to a vocational training course for arborists following a ceremony marking the course’s opening at Lianhua Hill Park on Thursday. Over 20 landscaping workers will be attending the course and are expected to become certified arborists upon completing the course. The certificates for arborists will be jointly issued by the city’s urban management authority and Shenzhen Polytechnic, as part of the city’s efforts to create high-quality urban greeneries. Arborists, a brand-new profession in Shenzhen, are certified experts trained in the science and art of planting and maintaining trees.
