More lockdown areas designated in Nanshan, Futian, Luohu

Nanshan District locked down Songhu Apartments in Zhaoshang Subdistrict on Saturday and Nanjingyuan Building in Nantou Subdistrict on Monday, where residents must stay at home and door-to-door delivery service is provided, according to the district’s COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters office yesterday.


The area bounded by Songhu Second Road, Songhu Road, Nanhai Boulevard and Xinghai Boulevard in Zhaoshang Subdistrict, and Wanhuatong Health Mall in Nantou Subdistrict were designated as control areas, where residents must stay in residential compounds and gatherings are prohibited.


The district also designated two new prevention areas, where gatherings are strictly limited and anti-COVID measures are put in place.


The prevention areas include the area bounded by east of Xinghai Boulevard, south of Nanshan Park and west of Nanhai Boulevard, as well as the area bounded by Taoyuan, Changxing, Xuefu and Nanxin roads.


Futian District has also designated a number of new lockdown, control and prevention areas in Futian, Shatou, Meilin, Xiangmihu and Lianhua subdistricts, according to the district’s COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters office yesterday.


In Luohu District, Unit A of Building 2 in the Tongxinyuan housing compound on Luosha Road in Liantang Subdistrict has been put under lockdown.


Unit B of Building 2 has been designated as a control area, while the other buildings of the housing compound have been designated as a prevention area, according to the district’s COVID-19 prevention and control headquarters office yesterday.
