Longhua sports center to open this year

An aerial view of the under-construction Longhua Culture and Sports Center on Sunday. The center is expected to be put into use this year. The 84,011.63-square-meter sports venue, located at the intersection of Longhua Boulevard and Qingquan Road, will have indoor and outdoor venues with facilities including swimming pools, 400-meter running tracks, a standard soccer field, and training grounds for badminton, basketball and table tennis. A hanging park, linking the center’s every single venue and field, will provide residents a space for jogging, cycling and gathering.
