Beijing Winter Olympic torch exhibition tour starts

Zhang Hui, a Winter Olympic gold medalist in short-track speed skating, holds the Beijing Winter Olympic torch at the launch ceremony of the exhibition tour of the torch in Harbin, capital of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang Province, yesterday. The torch will also be displayed in Daqing and Qiqihaer in the province. The torch relay will be held in Beijing’s downtown, its northwest Yanqing District and co-host Zhangjiakou in Hebei Province between Feb. 2 and 4 — involving about 1,200 torchbearers.
