Cold air hits Shenzhen

People dressed in winter clothing are seen walking along Hongli Road in Luohu District yesterday as the temperature dropped to as low as 12 degrees Celsius. The cold air will let up today and temperatures will rise starting tomorrow, according to Shenzhen Meteorological Observatory. Residents, especially the frail and elderly, are advised to keep warm and pay attention to their home's ventilation when using gas and water heaters to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning.
