Shenzhen Railway Station will operate a train to Beihai, the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, starting from Friday, when the new train operation schedule takes effect, sources from Shenzhen North Railway Station said yesterday.
Train D3662/3 will leave Shenzhen Railway Station at 8:52 a.m. and arrive in Beihai at 3:15 p.m., passing six stations in Dongguan, Guangzhou, Foshan, Wuzhou, Guigang and Nanning.
The whole trip takes six hours and 23 minutes. In addition, Shenzhen Railway Station will operate C7098/9/8 and C7097/100/097 between Shenzhen and Yunfu and C8080/77/80 and C8079/8/9 between Shenzhen and Foshan under the new schedule.
For the first time, Shenzhen North Railway Station will operate a train to Lianyungang in Jiangsu Province. Train G1312/3 will leave Shenzhen at 7:31 a.m. and arrive in Lianyungang at 5:38 p.m. The whole trip takes 10 hours and seven minutes. Travel time of train G1010 from Shenzhen to Wuhan will be cut to four hours and 35 minutes as the train only stops at Changsha, Chenzhou and Guangzhou.
Under the new schedule, Shenzhen Railway Station will operate 146 pairs of trains including 21 pairs of regular long-distance express trains. Shenzhen North Railway Station will operate 228.5 pairs of high-speed trains and 77.5 pairs of transit trains.
