Counters of the Futian police exit-entry department have realized a paperless process and improved efficiency through the application of intelligent services at the Futian District Public Security Sub-bureau Administration Service Center that was inaugurated Tuesday.
Through the intelligent guidance and online reservation system, visitors can be channeled to different service counters after scanning their codes or ID cards.
The 12 intelligent dispensers installed at the service center at Shazui Building on Fuqiang Road can handle 200 documents or permit applications a day.
“An exit-entry police officer can handle 100 application copies a day or 120 copies if they work extra hours. The intelligent dispensers greatly improve the efficiency and service quality,” said Zeng Meiqing, head of the exit-entry department of the Futian District Public Security Sub-bureau.
“From the online application to finally getting the documents, the whole process has attained the goal of paperless service, and the customer experience has been improved,” Guo Yanyu, deputy chief with the exit-entry department of Shenzhen police, said, adding the practice would be popularized across the city.
