Taxpayers in Shenzhen can make a comprehensive tax declaration starting Oct. 18, according to the Shenzhen Tax Service Administration.
The new service is available for five tax types, specifically business income tax, tax on using urban land, land value added tax, property tax and stamp tax.
With the service, taxpayers with more than one of the five taxes to pay no longer need to make separate declarations of different taxes.
After filing a comprehensive application, the tax system will show the results of each tax declaration.
Taxpayers should have registered tax types on the system and have no overdue tax declaration records so as to be eligible for the service.
Previous channels for individual declaration of the five tax types are still available on the system, according to the administration.
The move aims to further streamline the tax declaration procedure to make tax services more convenient, said Southern Metropolis Daily.
