Line 14 trains to be driverless

The trains running on Shenzhen’s Metro Line 14, which is now under construction, will be driverless when the line is put into operation in 2022.
With a maximum design speed of 120 kilometers per hour, the 50.34-km rail linking Gangxiabei Transport Hub in Futian CBD and Shatian Station in Pingshan will be the city’s first Metro line that adopts automated technologies, according to Shenzhen Metro Group.
