1. Wang Weizhong, Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee  emphasized the need to better protect, care for, and support the medical staff on the frontline of epidemic prevention and control in a more humane, effective and comprehensive manner. On the evening of February 21, Wang Weizhong, Secretary of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee presided over a meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shenzhen Municipal Committee. It is emphasized during the meeting that we must take good care of the medical staff whole-heartedly in their work, life, and health, so that they could always remain strong, upbeat, and energetic and play a better role of the medical staff as the backbone in the fight against COVID-19. 2. Enterprises in Shenzhen should implement prevention and control measures including zoning and classification in work and production resumption. The Office of Shenzhen Headquarters for Prevention and Control of COVID-19 issued the Notice on Promoting Work and Production Resumption in A Scientific and Orderly Manner by Implementing Zoning and Classification Measures in Epidemic Prevention and Control. The notice requires that zoning and classification, and targeted preventative and control measures should be adopted in coordinating the work on epidemic prevention and control, as well as resuming social-economic order. Enterprises should shoulder the two responsibilities of epidemic prevention and control, and production safety to effectively and orderly promote the resumption of work and production. Strengthened on-site guidance, supervision and inspection should also be conducted to implement the zoning and classification measures of epidemic prevention and control. 3. Shenzhen enterprises need to report their epidemic prevention and control work on a daily basis. In order to promote the resumption of work and production in a scientific and orderly manner, so as to ensure the safety of everyone back to work, all enterprises in Shenzhen should log in to the "epidemic prevention and control information system for enterprises" daily to fill in the information.These include the enterprise’s basic information and staff information, implementation of epidemic prevention measures and level of work resumption etc. (Source: Procurement Center of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government)

4. Shenzhen North Railway Station launched the "exclusive trains for enterprises’ work resumption" scheme. In order to satisfy the needs of the resumption of work and production by enterprises, Shenzhen North Railway Station launched the "exclusive trains for enterprises’ work resumption" scheme, which accepts ticket booking for trains with over 400 passengers setting off on the same date with the same schedule and destinations to cities already connected to the high-speed rail network.(Source: sznew.com)

5. Special loans have been granted to 15 national key enterprises in Shenzhen engaged in epidemic prevention. Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic, Shenzhen Central Sub-branch, the People's Bank of China has actively strengthened communication and coordination with finance, development and reform, industry and information technology and auditing among other authorities, vigorously guiding banks in Shenzhen to take an proactive, swift and targeted approach to meet the financing demands of key enterprises in the field of epidemic prevention and control. At present, all the 15 national key enterprises engaging in epidemic prevention in Shenzhen have been granted special re-loan and credits while loans at preferential interest rates should be granted if possible. 6. AI robots developed by local high-tech enterprises in Shenzhen have been in service on the frontline of epidemic prevention and control. The AI robot "Huangtiantian" is jointly launched by Bao’an Sub-branch of Shenzhen Municipal Public Security Bureau and Shenzhen UBTECH Robotics among other partners, serving as the country's first robotic assistant to the police which meets actual needs in the daily work of grass-root police stations. It not only assists the police in the frontline of epidemic prevention and control at expressway check points, but also makes its due contribution of AI to the epidemic prevention and control by its capability of long-distance face recognition and identity verification in public places.  (Source: sznew.com)
