Free Chinese culture class brings fun

Shalini Sehgal from India is seen in the process of making a traditional Chinese screen-shaped lamp during a livestream of a free Chinese culture class offered by the Hongshan International Service Center in Minzhi Subdistrict, Longhua District last week. Over 110 expats registered to attend the free online class and over 460 showed up to watch the livestream. The center has offered four free Chinese culture sessions since April, which aim to help build an international block and create a multicultural atmosphere. There will be more classes scheduled later this year.
