Guanlan, located in the northeast of Longhua District, Shenzhen, is the “North Gate” of Shenzhen's urban development axis. Lying in the core area ofthe Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guanlan enjoys a superior geographic location, beautiful scenery and profound historical and cultural heritage. The area within the ecological control line covers 40.2 percent of the subdistrict’s 34.6 square kilometers.
Hakka speakers settled in Guanlan 400 years ago, creating a unique culture here. The Guanlan International Block Service Center will be a leading international comprehensive service platform featuring “Four Major Positionings and Six Core Elements.” “Four Major Positionings” refers to the four service platforms, namely the Guanlan International Block Service Center, Guanlan International Block Service Center for Party and Masses, Longhua District Innovation and Entrepreneurship Service Center for Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Youth, and Guanlan Service Center for Social Organizations. “Six Core Elements” depicts the “diversified, integrated and sharing” environment, which is “suitable for life, business and tourism,” with an aim to build Guanlan into an international block.
Based on realistic needs and future development,the Guanlan International Block Service Center will provide foreigners, youth from Hong Kong and Macao, high-end talents, local residents, social organizations and other entities with “an environment suitable for life, work and tourism, as well as convenient and efficient service with high quality.”
