Dapeng Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery is located on the left side of Gongyuan Road, with the date-red Dapeng Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument erected in the center. In order to commemorate the Dongjiang Column and the revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the revolutionary war era, the CPC Dapeng Township Committee and the Dapeng Township People's Government built the Dapeng Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery in 1995 at 18 Gongyuan Road, Dapeng. The cemetery covers an area of 27,000 square meters, where the trees are lush and the scenery is beautiful.
The Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument in the cemetery is 15.5 meters high, in the shape of a square column, with seven big Chinese characters meaning "revolutionary martyrs' monument" on it. Each side of the pedestal is 14 meters long, engraved with the names of more than 120 martyrs such as Liu Jinjin and Diao Xin. In the spring of 1956, Dapeng people built a monument in an area called Tanlinpu to commemorate the martyrs of the revolution, and the monument was moved into the cemetery in the fall of 1995. It symbolizes the martyrs' eternal efforts and carries on the revolutionary spirit, towering in the hearts of the people.
