Introduction to the Park Featured attractions

As an important part of the central square and the south central axis landscape environment project in the central area of Shenzhen, the Civic Center Square was officially opened to the public in 2006. In addition to areas for tourism, leisure and entertainment, the park also utilizes a large number of green spaces to beautify the environment, which plays an important role in mitigating the urban heat island effect. In order to effectively utilize energy, the lighting system of the entire square adopts energy-saving, environmentally friendly equipment.

The central square of the Civic Center Square is located directly across from the Civic Center. Three crystal clear light towers with a height of 25 meters are erected on the east and west sides of the square, which are illuminated at night. In the central axis of the floor tiles and steps of the square, solar display lights and solar starlights are installed, and the entire square's lighting brightness has three modes that accommodate weekdays, holidays and major festivals of celebration. In addition, to provide further convenience for the public, the square has also set up four observation decks and four restrooms.
