Shenzhen Renmin Park is located in Luohu District, Shenzhen, covering an area of 11.41 hectares. Built in 1983, it is one of the earliest parks open to the public in Shenzhen. The whole park is divided into four functional areas: the Chinese Rose Garden Scenic Area, Sports and Recreation Area, Excursion and Leisure Area, and Plants Nursery Area, with a total of more than 20 garden attractions. Plants, mountain scenery, arch bridges, lakes, and pavilions are set against each other, with lakes crisscrossing and mountains and waters connecting to each other, creating a mesmerizing tropical atmosphere.

The park takes Chinese rose (Rosa chinensis) as the theme flower, and is unique for its Chinese rose cultivation, research, viewing and culture. With the aim of "inheriting the culture of Chinese rose and creating a harmonious life," the park actively carries out Chinese rose cultural activities and organizes a series of colorful Chinese rose cultural and artistic exhibitions.

Renmin Park is abundant in plant species, including more than 70 families and over 400 species of trees, shrubs and herbs. The park has a plant coverage rate of over 90%, with trees, shrubs, grasses forming a colorful plant landscape. Of special note is the Chinese Rose Garden, which covers an area of about 20,000 square meters, and is surrounded by the lake on all sides. The garden is wide and planted in patches of colorful Chinese rose, blooming in all seasons, and is the shrine of public appreciation of Chinese rose. It is also an important place for holding Chinese rose cultural activities.
