Travelers who take China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines flights departing and arriving at Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport can now purchase air and rail package tickets via rail ticketing website www.12306.cn starting yesterday.
The package tickets cover 22 railway stations in five cities, namely Dongguan, Zhongshan, Zhaoqing, Jiangmen and Shanwei. Four of the cities are in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Under this new program, passengers who need both transport modes to their destinations don’t need to purchase air and rail tickets separately.
The combined air and rail ticketing program will further enhance the Shenzhen airport’s service, be more convenient to passengers and save their travel time.
Package ticket holders have special lanes for airport security check and can use airport VIP lounges. They can also enjoy lower rates at designated hotels and free bus rides between the airport and Shenzhen North Railway Station, according to the Shenzhen airport yesterday.
