Shenzhen's per capita disposable income reached 19,591 yuan (US$3,015) in the first quarter of 2021, an increase of 2,462 yuan year on year, a nominal growth of 14.4 percent. After deducting the price factor, the actual increase was 15.4 percent, the Shenzhen Survey Team of National Bureau of Statistics of China said Monday.
According to the source of income, the per capita salary income of urban residents in the first quarter was 15,662 yuan, increased by 17.3 percent; the per capita net operating income was 1,953 yuan, grew by 3.7 percent; the per capita net property income reached 2,810 yuan, a rise of 5.9 percent; the per capita net transfer income was -835 yuan, while the previous year was -757 yuan.
In the first quarter, the city’s per capita consumption expenditure was 11,584 yuan, up 16.8 percent in nominal terms compared with the same period last year. After deducting the price factor, the actual increase was 17.8 percent. The per capita consumption expenditures on education, culture and entertainment, health care, and clothing rose by over 30 percent.
