Twenty-three artworks, including immersive installations, window displays, public space artworks and permanent fixtures created by 19 renowned artists from around the world, are on display at the “Bay Art 2018” exhibition at the newly opened MixC in Shenzhen Bay. Entry is free, but sign-up is needed.

Themed “Art × Fashion,” the exhibition explores the interrelationship between fashion and art by showing where and how they cross over, thereby bringing more beauty and imagination to life.

Nineteen of the artworks are tailor-created by artists especially for the Shenzhen Bay MixC and its fashion brands, expressing the glamour and forward-looking attitude of fashion.

Japanese flower artist Azuma Makoto is best known for pursuing the connections between human beings and plants, as well as the infinite potential of plants. His signature work “The Beauty of Life” evokes a world in which women are reborn into beauty.
