This Saturday, PechaKucha Night will be held in the middle of the Vanke Grassland Music Fair. Come and enjoy the sparkling ideas of international speakers and discover their original artworks while enjoying food and wine.

Speakers will be art teacher Amy Atkinson, graffiti artist MOK-ONE, landscape architect and designer Liu Xiangyi, artist Huang Wu-peng, design student Tiffany Ma, architect Jeremie, and curator and designer Xu Yuhong.

PechaKucha Night was kicked off in 2003 by Klein Dytham Architects. It is a global event happening in more than 1,000 cities, including Tokyo, Shanghai, Sydney, New York, Amsterdam, Beijing, Hong Kong, San Francisco and Berlin. PechaKucha Night rests on a simple presentation format: 20 images x 20 seconds. Presenters show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically as the presenter talks along to the images.

Riptide has been authorized as the official organizer in Shenzhen since 2010 and has held successfully more than 35 nights.

Time: 7:30-9:30 p.m., May 18
